TAPHAT TAWIL is a producer, creator, writer, director and designer. Over the span of her career, she has produced a host of projects across a variety of platforms including television, film, theater & fine art. Recent credits include: ROB PEACE (SUNDANCE 23), LAW & ORDER SVU (NBCU), INVASION (APPLE TV), THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA (HBO), Theater: A Peregrine Falls (OB), The John Patrick Shanley Festival & The Leslye Headland Sin Cycle and Circle In The Square Theatre (BDWY), Surfer Girl by Leslye Headland (LES). Her designs are seen in multiple TV Series & feature films, including selections in the TriBeCa, Cannes and Sundance Film Festivals. Credits Include: The Grand Jury Prize winner and multi-Indie Spirit Award nominated SANGRE DE MI SANGRE (Dir. Christopher Zalla), TIE A YELLOW RIBBON (PBS), Pascale Ferran’s BIRD PEOPLE, LIPSYNC BATTLE (Spike TV). As the Art Director of The Gallery at Le Poisson Rouge in NYC, she has curated and collaborated with visual artists and filmmakers including Chuck, Close, Macaulay Culkin, David Ellis, Adam Green and John Lurie.
