Public Transportation

Travelling by train or bus in New York City can be overwhelming at first, but we have a few easy tips to help you get around.

TAP TO PAY

All MTA subways and buses are now equipped with OMNY, which allows you to pay your fare using any tap-to-pay payment method. This includes and chipped credit card and Apple Pay!

Each one-way fare is $2.90.

TRAINS RUN BOTH WAYS

If you’re ever on a train and realize you’re not going where you’re supposed to be going, simply get off at the next stop. Trains run both ways, and by transferring to the train running the opposite way, you can quickly and easily get right back to where you came from.
