Ashley Rebecca Cain

Ashley Cain, from an early age, found herself on stage and in front of audiences. She is an outstanding actress, singer, violinist, director, choreographer, and educator. Ashley has appeared in choirs, operas, musicals, ballets, dance recitals, and numerous plays across the country. She graduated high school from two outstanding magnet programs in the San Antonio, TX area: The North East School of the Arts and the International School of the Americas. Ashley then graduated with a B.A. and B.F.A with a teaching certification from Oklahoma City University, where she co-founded and sang in an a cappella singing group, OCUPELLA. Following graduation, Ashley continued to use her gifts in public education to mentor other teachers as she directed student productions and children's theatre classes. She taught middle school Speech, Drama, and Debate for five years and won the award of Teacher of the Year before relocating to New York City with her pup Daisy. She has performed around the country in several major regional theaters, and is currently a Lead Singer on Aida Cruise Lines, where she met her partner. Currently, she is teaching voice and violin lessons in the New York City area and continues to volunteer within the community.
