Krystyna Resavy
Krystyna Resavy is a New York based choreographer, creative, and dance educator. Immediately after earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Emerson College, Krystyna assisted Tony-award winning choreographer Christopher Gattelli on the Broadway musical, The Cher Show. Most recently, Krystyna choreographed The Prom at Sharon Playhouse starring Kate Baldwin, and is set to choreograph South Pacific at the Engeman Theater and Annie at Sharon Playhouse later this year. Additional choreography credits include The Wedding Singer (New London Barn Playhouse), Guys & Dolls (NLBP), and Mamma Mia! (associate choreographer). Her work can be seen throughout New York City, having choreographed Samsung’s Launch Event Move With Galaxy featuring Diplo and Gwen Stefani, Steps in Concert at the Joyce Theater, Leg Up On Life benefitting The Trevor Project (Sony Hall, HK Hall), The Prom and Singin’ in the Rain at The Brearley School, Arts for Alzheimer’s, The Love Project, Jared Grimes’s Run The Night, New York City Dance Alliance, Onstage New York, and more. Favorite performance credit includes dancing in the film Isn’t It Romantic starring Rebel Wilson. Krystyna is currently on the theater jazz faculty at Steps on Broadway and guest faculty for New York City Dance Alliance. @krystyna.resavy
