OCU Alumni Concert
Description:

Michael Galyon is interested in developing an OCU Alumni Concert to be held here in NYC. Music Theatre Class
Description:

Scott Guthrie is continuing to teach his class that will begin in August. It's a studio-type music theater class, basically like a masterclass. It's going to be a safe space where people can get up in front of other actors and feel that they can go out on a limb and take risks.

Here's the greatest part -- it's only $40/class. It would be once a week for 3 hours, 4 times a month. A month commitment is required, and payment is expected for the month at the time of the first class.

There will be 6-8 people per class, but no more, so that everyone has as much time as possible.

We'll cover performance issues, song styles, performance practice, rep books, as well as any little things that come along the way.

Vinyasa Yoga
Description:

We all need balance. That's why yoga can be so beneficial for performers. We spend so much time worrying about the way we look, getting anxious about auditions, and thinking about where we will be in a month, or year. I want to offer this class to performers, so you can breath, be yourself, and live in the moment. In such a crazy city, this will keep you sane. Please come join me for a weekly taste of yoga therapy for performers. Classes will be every Friday from 5 - 6 at the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance.

When:

Fridays 5:00 - 6:00

Where:

316 East 63rd St

Cost:

By donation
